Cuil-Na-Sithe is situated at Lochyside 2.5 miles from Fort William.
Only 400 yards from our home is the ruins of Old Inverlochy Castle
which was the scene of many battles in Fort William's past.
To the front we have panoramic views of Ben Nevis , Glen Nevis and
river Lochy and to the rear the Banavie's hills and Nevis Range (Ski Center) provide the perfect backdrop.
Ben
Nevis
Ben
Nevis is the highest mountain in the UK. On a good day from the top
of the mountain a keen eye can see the coast of Ireland. The name
'Nevis' comes from the Gaelic word for heaven or clouds. Ben Nevis
can therefore be translated 'mountain with its head in the clouds'
or 'cloudy mountain'. All year round Ben Nevis offers staggering views
to make any holiday maker stop and stare.
Glen
Nevis
Glen
Nevis is most likely Fort William's best visited hotspot by locals
and tourist alike. Just a few minutes from Fort William, the very
beautiful Highland glen stretches out before your eyes as one enters
"The Glen" from the west. The glen is the perfect place
for peace and tranquility.
River
Lochy
Flowing
from Loch Lochy to the sea at Fort William, the River Lochy is one
of the most productive salmon rivers on the West Coast of Scotland.
If fly-fishing is your thing then look no further than this strictly
preserved salmon stream. salmon and sea trout can be seen from April
through to late October.
